Veterinary Holdings International is a group of thirteen businesses in specialty medicine, hospital care, primary care, nursing, dermatology, diagnostics and education. Six cities, two countries.
01Origin
Origin
It began with one eye clinic
The first business was The Eye Vet, an ophthalmology practice.
Every business in the group has been built the same way since: behind a specialist who still practises in it.
The group was founded in 2019. India has plenty of veterinarians and very few specialists: Dr. Noopur Desai remains the only US board-certified veterinary radiation oncologist practising in the country.
Specialty by specialty, the group added the disciplines that had no depth behind them. Oncology, exotics, emergency and critical care, behaviour, primary care, nursing and the academy each became a business of its own, led by the clinician who practises in it.

The group works under two legal jurisdictions. The clinical standard does not vary between them.
The group operates under the law of India and the United Arab Emirates. Each operating company is responsible for its own clinical services. Clinical standards are common across all of them.

Thirteen Specialty Councils
A chair sets the medical standard for a discipline and is clinically accountable for every case in it, at every site.
A chair answers for the medicine in their discipline wherever in the group the case is seen. The standard travels with the discipline, not with the site.

The group’s academy
Wholly owned, fourteen disciplines, faculty drawn from the group’s own bench.
Faculty are the group’s own specialists. Teaching time is part of the job rather than something done after it.
The ladder runs PG certificate, fellowship, rotating internship, residency, specialist. Teaching is delivered digitally, with clinical rotations through the network.
